Sharing Dance day 2018 #SharingDanceDay2018

Dr. Draw together with his musical collaborators beatboxer Scott Jackson, drummer/producer Acote, and electronic Harpist from Montreal M’Michele collaborated together on a song called ‘Earth to Sky’ in part of #SharingDanceDay2018 This has been an honour to be a part of such nation wide initiative to bring together communities through dance with engaging choreography that is tangible to all. These types of projects really have a positive influence on the world, and a big thank you to National Ballet School for letting us be a part of this.

For some reason I really wanted to enroll in a ballet class even if I will be forty in a few years. I was discouraged from dancing as a little kid because they said I am flat footed. I developed this wrong notion that I can't dance. I did not practice. I did not enroll in any special class because I was content believing that I am not enough. Maybe it runs in the family. Maybe there is something wrong with my foot. Maybe just maybe it wasn't really for me. Then one day I just woke up and felt that this is what I should be doing in my life and not anything else. That's when I decided I needed lessons.

I agree with you that this kind of projects has really a big impact to the world. It was a positive influence indeed. Many are those who really into dancing. Dancing can be a source of healing and happiness too. Some dances to entertain and show their talents, but there are who dances to release the stress and make the dancing as an excuse to be relieved.
